Currently, Swishing.co.uk is only for womens' clothing, accessories and fashion-related items, in adult sizes.
All items sent to Swishing.co.uk should be new, or nearly new. In order to maintain the quality of clothes on the site, please ensure items are:
- of a good standard that you'd be proud to pass on
- designer or high quality high street
- worth at least £20 when new (we may accept items of lower value, but this is at our discretion)
- less than two years old or high quality vintage
In addition please ensure all items are:
- freshly laundered and spotlessly clean - please check carefully for makeup or deodorant marks and other stains, particularly near collars, cuffs and hems
- in good repair – no broken (or breaking) zips, loose / missing buttons, rips, tears, fabric pulls or holes, disintegrating seams or hems
- lint, fluff & pet hair free!
NB. For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept pierced earrings. We are unable to accept bikini bottoms/swimsuits or pants (underwear) unless 100% unworn / BNWT (swimwear should have the hygiene strip in place).
NB. If sending shoes, these must be in virtually as new condition – shoes with too many marks, scuffs, grubby in-soles or overly-worn soles or heels will be rejected.
Items which don't match these guidelines will be disapproved or later rejected after closer inspection. Items which are misdescribed will also be rejected or devalued. If an item is initially approved but then subsequently disapproved due to it being misdescribed or failing to meet our guidelines, then the cost of returning these items will be at your expense.
